proposal for Aaron Wilmot's audio visual promo
I am creating an audio visual promo to help older students get involved in sports day as the older students seem to get the more bored of sports day they are as well as they have been to many and are fed up of it. this audio visual promo helps older students to stay engaged in the activities they can enjoy during sports day. This is going to be a sport genre which allows me to easily access my target audience who are people I want to draw in on sports day. My target audience is going to be the older school students so sixth form and years 11 and 10 because year 10 have usually had enough of sports day because they've already been to many and year 11s aren't allowed to go because of GCSEs and I believe they should have the option because they could use it as a stress relief and I would choose to also aim for girls as there are a lot of stereotypes that girls cannot play sports which they shouldn't be stereotyped and the only thing girls can participate in is cheerleading which is fine but they should also be able to play other sports alongside men this product is needed because seeing it could encourage women to play a lot more sports and this could let them be able to feel more confident and step forwards and try something out of their comfort zone without feeling judged or stereotyped.
the content will be a team of boys and girls playing sports and they will link forces together to show that men and women can easily play sports together there will be a main female and a main male character do that that way there are people who can relate to both characters who allow people to feel comfortable and relatable so that they can find the courage to be like the characters and step out of their comfort zone there wont be any sound effects but there will be music that allows people to feel the emotions of the characters with changes in the music and the content will also have the same target audience older males and females however I am trying to really engage women as they have been pushed out of the bracket of playing. there will be a decent amount of dialogue between characters as they will have to talk about their differences and similarities and events that they have both had to go through to stop them from overcoming things that have happened to them and they will talk about this also being n a team means that they will have to talk to members of the team and other people they encounter.
this will be recorded in a local park or area of greenery where we can simply get goals it will also be shot in a park to represent a basketball team with courts in a park and there will also be green areas for a football pitch and there can be costumes that can be created there will be kits for specific teams but these will come from easy shorts and tops that can be matched together to create teams or bibs that can be worn over their clothes they wont need any make-up because it will be team based and this means they just keep whatever is on them because they don't need any makeup added
my marketing methods will be to keep a # that people can add and this means that they can put this on their posts if they agree and they can then add that on any social platform and this means that influencers are allowed to post this and help their large following promote the # and this can spread awareness around. The video itself will actually be posted on YouTube and clips of it can be seen on other platforms such as snapchat and Instagram for a wider variety to see.
